One of our well-established clients, Millers of Speyside, wanted to meet changing market demands and expand on their commercial market by selling straight to the domestic market, delivering high quality Scottish produce straight to the consumer. They looked no further than Minto's digital team.
With only a matter of weeks between the initial consultation and the launch, we developed a full-blown E-Commerce site custom made to reflect the latest development from Millers of Speyside, designed to appeal directly to customers. So, we made Millers Meat Boxes to sell a brand-new range of Millers meat products directly to customers.
Because Millers Meat Boxes were selling direct to the customer, we made the conscious decision to use imagery that reflected the end product and ‘tickled the taste buds’.
The buying habits of the consumers changed drastically during 2020 which were capitalised on, with the ease of online purchasing and getting products delivered contact free directly to the door. A successful 12 month period followed with great customer reviews, many enjoying the quality and choice of Millers meats. As their huge commercial export business opened up again post Covid, all operations were focussed on this which meant putting a pause on the service. We look forward to it resuming.
